About Havenfield Studio

We craft personalised 3D glass engravings and crystal décor in the UK — pieces designed to last, finished by hand, and made to mean something.

Our story

Where light, memory, and craft converge

Havenfield Studio began with a simple idea: capture real moments in a medium that endures. Glass has a way of making light feel physical — depth, reflection, and clarity held in your hands. We built a boutique studio around that feeling.

Today, our team blends precision 3D engraving with quiet, methodical finishing. We tune the geometry of each engraving, soften edges by hand, and check every surface under clean light before it leaves the bench. The brief is always the same: create something worthy of being kept for life.

What we stand for

Principles that shape every piece

01

Craft over volume

We’re not a factory. Each commission is treated as a one-off with proofing, adjustments, and real human time at the bench.

02

Clarity of materials

Optical-grade crystal selected for refraction and consistency. No shortcuts — clarity in the glass means clarity in the engraving.

03

Honest communication

Proofs before engraving, realistic timelines, and updates. If something needs more time to be right, we’ll tell you.

04

Longevity by design

Surfaces finished to resist micro-scratches, edges polished to feel soft in the hand, packaging built for safe arrival and long-term storage.

Materials & methods

Optical crystal. Precision engraving. Human finish.

Optical-grade crystal

We source crystal blocks for low-iron clarity and minimal internal stress — the foundation for a clean, luminous engraving.

True 3D point-cloud

Your photo is mapped into depth data and refined for contrast and separation. This is how we achieve the “in-glass” sculptural effect.

Laser calibration

We calibrate pulse energy and voxel spacing to avoid blooming and maintain crisp edge definition throughout the volume.

Bench finishing

Edges are polished, faces are cleaned to lab standards, and the piece is inspected under neutral light before packing.

How it works

A simple, transparent commissioning process

1) Share your photo & idea

Send your image and a short brief. We review suitability and advise on size and composition.

2) Receive a digital proof

We prepare a proof showing crop, depth, and any text. You approve before engraving begins.

3) Engraving & finishing

Your design is etched in crystal, edges are polished, and every surface is checked by hand.

4) Presentation & delivery

Secure, minimal packaging. Tracked shipping. Care guidance included for long-term clarity.

Care & responsibility

Thoughtful production, built to last

Sensible sourcing

We work with reputable suppliers and choose materials for durability — fewer replacements, lower waste over the life of the piece.

Considered packaging

Protective, presentation-ready boxes designed for storage, reuse, and safe gifting.

Repair over replace

If a surface picks up a minor mark, we’ll advise on care or offer workshop refinishing options where feasible.
